Thought that Sabo's face of One Piece be revealed on this week's episode!..

Just read this week's episode of One Piece in mangareader.net, One Piece 736 and thought that Sabo's face will be revealed finaly but it wasn't, maybe in the next episode for sure. Decided to create a fan art out of the thrill of expectation that didn't happen. Here are some process screenshots of Monkey D Luffy, the captain and main character of One Piece:

Things turned out funny but this is the kind of concept created thinking of asian and realistic features. Maybe gonna create more fan art on One Piece soon, haha!

Digital painting session, the concept is a swordsman in fiery and bluish shades...

Finished some works and it needs to be colored next and there's free time to do some personal artwork. The session limit is 4 hours and the concept is a swordsman. Here are some process screenshots:

It was a good session where the trick is to try to mix up 2 colors of some sort of sharp lights and here's the final artwork below:

The speed painting session was fun, the only disadvantage is that there is no personal artwork done and any studies being continued, maybe it's time to stop it for a while and focus more on more more studies and personal artwork, haha!

Recently finished some things and here they are:

An old painting done and another fantasy art done...

Decided to look some unfinished paintings and selected one to be finished and studied. It was fun to think where the sharp light would go and what happens to the side which was not reached by that light. Here is the artwork and this is called "The Detective" because this guy detects, haha! Don't know how it turned out but this one looks like a detective in disguise.

And, here's another fantasy art before resting a for a while. This is a monster warrior with a greenish scaled skin and little by little getting used to simplified processes. This is called "Super Monster" and his fighting skill is also super. Here are some screenshots:

Another speed painting sessions but couldn't grouped them for now...

Listed the previous topics of the Daily Spitpainting group on facebook and these are the sessions done, really wanna do all of those topics but time is short since there are project right now. This is the 5th session already and is really helping to minimize and simplify first a rough concept then with a step by step approach, the concept will be form at the right time. The thing is to train how to make this a constant mind set.

Speed painting session 4's 2 items are done while the other is still not uploaded...

Here are the 2 items for session 4 done in 60 minutes less. The other one was already done but still couldn't upload it here, maybe tomorrow for sure. The 5th is on it's way and there are still topics needed to be done in order to catch up with the concepts done by the group daily.

Speed painting sessions done recently and it was fun since there is time limit!!

There was a facebook group/page where artists can share and posts there digital painting works with the guidelines and rules provided by the admin. It's amazing since there is a time limit, the thing needs to be done in no more than 30 minutes and many artists and people participated. It's exciting since you can see different outputs from different artists and people. There are funny, horror, and you can also see the works of amazing people. Here are some speed paintings:

Because of this activity, a new kind of digital painting study is created, it is called "Speed Painting Session" studies. Each session will contain three art pieces and the time limit for each is 30 minutes, with 3 items it's 90 minutes. Done working on the 10th artwork but still cannot post it here.

First post for the new year of 2014, some works done from August down to October...

Finally! The year of the horse is for this year 2014 and this is the first post for this blog. Remembering those 2013 things is good, there were times of stress from freelance but still finds time to sleep, there were also failures during that time when work loads are accepted at the same time causing their deadlines to conflict with one another and resulted to a not complete work and others are cancelled. Haha, that was an experienced that made something. The most important thing from that year is attaining something and it's already here. A goal that is little by little achieved and this year would probably help it to progress even more. A lot of digital painting studies were also done compared to 2012 and it made some improvements, new methods and passion for art.

By the way, here are some illustration done for isometric animation, the watermarking on the others are still not done and only 2 here will be posted, the images are below:
