Giant hunter rough concept for a weekly challenge on facebook...

The truth is, this is the second time to submit an artwork for a weekly challenge in facebook. The first submission was quiet late, the theme during that time was a medieval female warrior. The rough concept was also done but it was the deadline already. That rough concept will be done soon when a new motivation can be found, haha. Anyways, the new theme for this week is about a giant hunter and this are the processes done to create the rough concept of the giant hunter riding a small dragon, we can call the dragon "Small Dragon" because it's small, haha! And here's the complete rough concept and this will colored tomorrow. It has been quiet effective to limit rough concept and sketches for a fantasy/concept art for below 3 hours and the colors will be focused and should be more time.

By the way, it has been a couple of months since this blog was started, thank you for the people who visited and to those who really read the posting and emailed to ask questions about the methods being used here like the circularpoints, objectillustration and others.

Majin Buu and Babidi 3D character concept on cghub...

Visited cghub just this day and saw an amazing 3d character concept of Majin Buu and Babidi, here are the images:

For some reason, the concept of Buu is far from the original dragon ball character and Babidi is almost the same facial features:

The next concept and fantasy art to be done...

Haven't created any artwork in "Concept and Fantasy Art" category for a couple of months since it has been quiet a busy period building the portfolio and making digital painting studies in still life and portraits. Thought of finalizing some new artwork, here are the processes done, some images didn't display the right processes done since it was forgotten create screenshots on some of them. Here they are:

Easter bunny character sample, a bunny with super colorful long ears...

There was one time that a sample of a Bunny character was created for a possible project, it was accepted by client but the actual bunny on the project was different from the sample since there was a reference picture. Here is the final bunny concept:

Digital painting study 26 - Another still life studies...

Has been interested in studying still life, but was planning to study human anatomy through a study method known as "Motion Gesture Study" but couldn't start it, haha. Here is another study and there's more needed to be studied:

Manga style character samples...

It's quiet 5 days of July and there has been no any update for this blog. Looked at some old folder and find a sample character concept for some client from the past months, this time it's a different class since the characters needed to be presented should be manga style. Only one character was submitted during that time but the client did not choose any and has left the posting closed without selecting any. Decided to continue on coloring the second and third character, here are the screenshots:

This can be considered a painting study digitally, and maybe this can be added to "Digital Painting Studies" folder, here is the final piece that is not completed, haha:

The fifth black and white study, archer duck children's book cover illustrations and a song about dream...

It's the first day of July today (Philippine time) and another black and white painting study is done. Haven't thought of a name about this concept but soon it will be, it happens all the time, you start painting a concept that you just thought but you don't know what's the name or how to name it. Here's a song about "A Dream", we have dreams, whatever it is it should be something good and nice. There's a version with guitar version but cannot successfully link it here, so here's another video:

Things needed to be done next month if the dog doesn't slack off...

Almost hit another 15 blog post as a standard number while there's no project to be done when someone doesn't have connects for bidding :). This is the 14th post, there are painting studies that was left dry or was forgotten, but these needs to be done next month. Here are the things that needs attention:

Was planning to create a fan art of Hulk after watching the "Avengers" movie, this was started way back last year. The plan was to create a fan art of other avenger characters:

A portrait and a study of President Bush's picture needs to be done too, it was started early of June 2013:

Another one is the picture of President Barack:

His hair style is quiet boring, so there's a funny thing for a change, hahaha! The picture below is somewhat like an emo Barack, but it will not be implemented on the painting haha!

The latest study is an inspiration after watching "Oz The Great And Powerful". The good witch of the south is pretty and her kingdom is full of lovely people that cannot fight her bad witch sisters. It was a good movie with a nice story, here are the screenshots of the painting study:
