The first post, finally!

Hi everyone! Have started blogging this month of April and would post all the things needed to be shared here, including studies, practices, snippets and many more. By the way, here's the first post, recently, joined a contest in deviantart. The contest was about Tomb Raider, and the participants needed a concept that would depict and describe Lara Croft. It was a fun competition, for a thousand of entries by talented artists around the world, only 25 were selected for the selection of 3 finalists. Didn't even made at the 25, but it's okay, the most important thing was the experience and the best effort was done.

It was fun working on this one and was motivated by the prize and to tell the truth, the competition with other strong artists itself has encourage to do more. It's more interesting when competitors are a lot stronger, haha. Here is the final result of the processes done for the entry.

In this concept, Lara enters the forest where she would start her struggles and battles along the way as she explores her journey. The composition was focused on her but maybe the background is quite non relevant, but it's fine though...
