Personal nickname and website history...

It started way back in high school, used to play counter-strike with classmates and created names for fun. The first nick name was "YnneK", it was a strange name that was created by reversing the first name and it was followed by "Head Works", a name created because during game time, play mates get nailed with a sniper on the head, hahaha! In college it became more formal, started to learn programming and web design and created a more simple name, the name was "Nekworks", it was a name based on the word networks where a group of PC is connected with one another. It was quite frustrating since only few was interested to focus on the course and learn from it and at the end, it was like none of them learned it deeply and used it after graduation. Here is a logo of it:

There was a website created with this logo for a project within the course, but it was deleted a long ago (http://www.nekworks.110mb.com) a long with a blog (http://kennyestrella.blogspot.com/). Another website for a project was also created (http://computerscienceworks.110mb.com/index.html).

After graduation it became quite serious and decided to create a portfolio to apply for jobs in web design. The website was designed like this, and looking at it really makes a smile since it was old and the layout was kind of basic. Here is an image:

The portfolio was a big help and was accepted for a web and mobile app development company but did not stayed for long since colleagues also resigned one by one because of stressful work flow. It was the first time that there are people who really are experts within the course and all of them are far better and has wider experience.

The next job was also related to design, the only difference is it is mostly illustration design. It was the period to realize that art is an amazing course and see many artists that are good. There are also references from professionals within this fields who inspires most and they are working in gaming, concept/character design, films and etc. industry. They have well organized portfolio that inspires to create a more structured portfolio website. The website was the first formal version and the logo created was "Kenworks", here is the version 1.0:

Later, re-design process was made and version 2.0 of kenworks was created:

The version was realized to be more complicated because of the plan of integrating it with opencart system and wordpress, haha! It was like dreaming hard when the resources are less. One big problem is that the name cannot be used since there was a company with that name:

Kenworks Inc.
Kenworks NZ

It was decided that the name should be different and doesn't have a similar or the same name when you google it, haha. Since the portfolio content will be all the works done, starting from graphic/web design down to illustration and digital painting, it was realized to compressed them as one and the name "Kenoneworks" emerged and this will be used for the website. Here is the version 1.0:

Some changes are made, 1.0.1:

Currently, another re-design is in progress as well as restructuring the code, because there are problems and errors in loading the pages where AJAX is used to load them. To negate that problem, the possible solution will be using AJAX once and not twice so that it will not cause any conflict on the pages loaded currently and to the default page. To do this there are pages that will be affected such as the "Contact" page, the form on this page will not run correctly when this page is loaded using AJAX, this will be possibly changed in to a much simpler page without the forms.

Those things needed to be changed were only parts of the overall development, "Web end" to be termed, on the "Portfolio build up end", sample digital painting for portraits and characters should be added to make a more solid set of gallery. There's so much work to do to get possible good clients for the future.
