Been observing it lately that the postures and gestures of illustrations are quite awkward, the angles, the muscles, the length of arm, torso, neck, legs and other parts of human body somewhat feels uneasy and it results to a bad composition. Developed several possible methods and practice processes that might help to learn from basic to advance anatomy of the human gestures and come up with the idea to study about the human muscular system.
The human muscles are easy to see without the skin, thus, making a possible deep understanding when every muscles are familiarized. Will start to test these methods next week, it won't take much time maybe. The term for this one will be "Motion Gesture Study" where after creating a base illustration of a posture, the next illustration will be a movement on that base, here is a sample:
This kind of study may really help, the main focus on this is to familiarized the muscles so that we can display the muscles in their right positions, thus, making a good posture on character composition. Preparations for the study are needed to be arranged, and maybe revised depending on new ideas that might sprout.
These things are still theories, until they are tested, in which one of them becomes a fact, haha...
