The fourth design for Designbyhumans, this time the DBH Daily Contest..

Was not doing some studies or concept and fantasy art since there are things needed to be done first. The next month is coming and it's the right time to do more digital painting pieces. By the way, the 4th design submitted to Designbyhumans was done and hoping it will be accepted for the voting stage. Below are the color themes. The Diablo III T-shirt Design Contest submission has already ended and on October 14, maybe they will reveal the top 5, hope 1 of the 2 entries could interest the judges, haha. It was a fun contest, and it's a good experience to be included in it!

The very first recorded digital painting session of an artwork...

Recently completed the recorded videos of the digital painting sessions done to finished the artwork for the Designbyhumans and Blizzard's Diablo III contest, the Diablo III T-shirt Design Contest. It was optional to submit a video of the processes made to finished the design, and thus, recorded several sessions with Camtasia Studio 8 to make a complete video of the over all process, but not all sessions were recorded since Camtasia slows down the laptop. There was a minimum of 8 video clip sessions recorded to make 1 vide, here it is below, it took about 1 hour to finish this even if the clip speed was 400 twice:

The background music was from youtube, a video and audio compiling all soundtracks of the Diablo III game, the link's here Diablo III - Soundtrack (OST) All in One.

The Crusader, the new warrior of the mortal realms...

Just this day, the second submission for the Diablo III contest in Designbyhumans was submitted successfully and is on the approval stage. The Crusader is the new warrior or new character class in Diablo III expansion where Malthael stole the black soul stone from it's hiding place. Doesn't know what exactly the story is all about inside the game, but from youtube, there are videos and cinematics presented. The overall game is cool and amazing, the environments and monsters are of high class graphics. Maybe one day it's good to play with it and experience controlling one character.

There is a video being recorded while the painting processes are made, starting from scratch up to the almost done stage. The plan was to color this illustration but time is running out and couldn't make it and the gray scale painting piece was edited ready for the t-shirt template. The video is not continuous too, since the "Camtasia" software slows down the pc performance while working in photoshop.

Here are the design and templates:

While working on the templates, there is some sort of doubt and confusion if it is possible to change the color scheme of this design as well as the t-shirt template. To test it, a "Selection Framing" was constructed in photoshop to see clearly and compare the possibilities, below is the image:

The selection was of six frames put together and all the colors looked fine and okay, but for the viewers point, it will depend on them. Kind of like the reddish/pinkish scheme on frame 3 and the bluish with violet scheme on frame 4. At the end, the decision was to go to the original grayish color scheme. Here is the artwork separated from the t-shirt template:

Working on the Crusader, the second entry for the Diablo III and Designbyhumans contest...

From last week, find some time to conceptualize and create sketch for the new character class in "Diablo III", the "Crusader", although there's a freelance thing going on. Also recorded the painting session since it is permitted in the contest to create a video of the processes done of a participant's entry. With the use of "Camtasia Studio version 8.0" recording your desktop screen is easy since it is one of the functionality provided by the software. You can also edit the video and make changes, but for now, just did the recording since there is less time to study the tutorials, specially the editing video part. Here are some screenshots of the line art and grayscale stage of the character:

Below is a screenshot of camtasia's UI:

Yes! The submission was accepted already and it's a relief...

It's a relief to know that the revision for the Diablo III t-shirt design contest was accepted by the staff of designbyhumans. Was really happy and will continue working on the Crusader and submit it tomorrow if it is possible since at the website, the submission end date was moved to 13, but on the forums, tomorrow is the crapping deadline.

Please vote it by clicking this link:

Getting to know more this cool society which gathers many artist to create a design for t-shirt...

Recently created an account in order to submit an entry on "Design By Humans" t-shirt design contest. The theme was to create a design that would display selected game characters inside Diablo III in an appealing and creative design. Submitted an entry for their "DBH Daily Contest" and the design got accepted for voting. Here are the images of the design according to designbyhumans guidelines in submitting a design:

Unfortunately, submitted the first entry and it did not make for the voting section, earlier received a "Rejection email" and it describes what kind of thing that was not followed. Here's the screenshot of the email:

And here is the design that got rejected :(, just gotta find a way to make it fit:

The files from the old external drive was recovered!

Last year, there was a big problem on the external hard drive which causes all files from the backup to be hidden and is not usable because of an unknown effect caused by the virus. The virus hides all the folders and when the external drive is scanned with anti virus softwares (kaspersky, avast, avg, eset, norton, and  bitdefender) the files are still there but is not accessible. The anti virus guys have different interpretation on the virus, there was this $recycle.blala, trojan, malware and others. It has been about 2 months of reading for a solution on forums and blogs that might help the problem but during that time there was none to find. Maybe it's just the research method being done that was not enough and so decided to wait for time to come that reading articles will sprout, haha, it was a couple of months of wait until this August 2013 discovered a forum about recovering the files inside the external drive rather than killing the virus, it was effective idea since there is "iCare Data Recovery Software" which is handy tool that provides functions that helps recover lost files, deleted files, hidden files on a drive including flash drives and external drives. Visit the website at:

http://www.icare-recovery.com/

In the case, torrent was the best option to search files for that software that has keygen and has cracked serials, found it at:
